Fleet

It is very common to encounter medium and giant Atlantic bluefin tuna in the Strait of Gibraltar during the summer season. This predatory species usually migrates to the Mediterranean in summer to breed and its size can vary from 50 to 400 kg. Bluefin tuna generally travel in medium to large shoals and like to dive deep.

They are also considered to be one of the fastest fish species on the planet, as they can move at lightning speeds of over 70 km/h.
